BREAKING NEWS !!!! The Library will be closed until further notice due to the county being put into Tier 4. We will be closed until the Tier level goes down. Please keep watching on here and Facebook for updates on the situation. Any books on loan are due back on the 1st February 2021. Books can be put through the letterbox of the Library at any time. 100 Club Draw will still be done and winners names will be put on here and Facebook. Happy New Year to you all. Lets hope 2021 is better than 2020. STAY SAFE EVERYONE Our Group
Our Group was set up and we took over the Library on 20th May 2016 in response to Leicestershire County Council’s decision to withdraw staffing for rural Libraries.
We wanted to save this fantastic building and village resource for current and future residents. If we had not come forward, the Library would have closed. We are a registered charity (number 1165707) and are working to become self-funding over time as the County Council funding reduces.

Our Aim
Our aim, with the continued support of Leicestershire County Council, is to maintain current Services such as free book loans to adults and children, along with a range of reading initiatives for the young. In the longer term, we aim to build on what works well by extending the range of Services and activities on offer – giving everyone in the community a reason to visit the Library.
