Burbage Community Library was established in 2016 and is entirely managed and run by volunteers. We aim to provide a Warm Welcome
to all, and to provide all the usual library services you might expect.
We also strive to be an increasingly important community resource for Burbage residents - through the regular and occasional events we put on, our participation in other local activities, and our Friendly Bench ™ and The Friendly Bookshop.

We are a registered charity (no 1165707) and completely self-funding. Please support YOUR Community Library!

Our Aim

Our aim, with the continued support of Leicestershire County Council, is to maintain current services such as free book loans to adults and children, along with a range of reading initiatives for the young. In the longer term, we aim to build on what works well by extending the range of services and activities on offer – giving everyone in the community a reason to visit the Library.
