Donation: A £500 donation from local housebuilder Davidsons Homes. Mike Wilbur, Chair of Burbage Community Library, said: “We are absolutely delighted with this generous donation from Davidsons Homes. Our library has thrived thanks to the dedication of local volunteers, and support like this makes a real difference. With our 10th anniversary approaching, it feels especially timely to be recognised in this way, and the funds will help us to continue serving the community for years to come.” The contribution comes as the library prepares to celebrate a decade of being community-managed, with plans to produce a commemorative booklet later this year. Simon Tyler, Sales Director for Davidsons Homes South, said: “Libraries are at the heart of our communities – they bring people together, encourage learning and provide a welcoming space for all. We’re proud to support the team of volunteers who keep Burbage Community Library thriving and to play a small part in helping them continue their brilliant work.”
