Established in 2016, Burbage Community Library is a self-funding Charitable Incorporated Organisation managed and run by local volunteers, including our Board of 10 annually-appointed local Trustees. With the continued support of Leicestershire County Council the Library provides a Free Book Loan Service, including reading initiatives for the young, a well-stocked Friendly Bookshop and a year-round accessible outdoor Garden Meeting Area.
We also offer and support a range of wider services and activities for the local community, all with the aim of maximising local awareness and engagement with the Library and ensuring best overall use of our resources and facilities.
