100 Club - March winners

The March winners of the 100 Club have been drawn!

The Friendly Bookshop

The Friendly Bookshop is now fully open, well-stocked and awaiting your custom!
Many thanks go to the residents of Burbage for the generous donation of thousands of books of all kinds, and bookcases that were badly needed. Books are 50p minimum each except for gift sets which come at a slight premium, but any larger donation will be much appreciated to help us to keep our library open.

Carole Kemp of the library said, “All of the books are now shelved and put in author order for everyone to find easily. There are plenty to choose from; fiction, cookery, gardening, biographies and many more. Most authors seem to have a book in there of one sort or another so hopefully we will cater for all and of course, there are plenty of children’s books from birth to teenagers as well.”

The Friendly Bench has arrived!

We have installed a "Friendly Bench" in front of the library, if you have not already, do come and sit on it.
