However, membership is required to make full use of the Library services – borrow books, reserve books, use PCs, connect to the Wi-Fi

What if I am late returning books or can’t get them back on time? Books can be renewed via telephone or online if you cannot get into the Library before the due date. Charges are applicable for overdue books – a list of charges is displayed in the Library and the cost depends on the type of membership status e.g. Adult, Child, etc. Charges are made per day when overdue. Books can be placed through the Library letterbox when closed and the return date will be the last day the Library was open. For example, if a book is put through the letterbox on a Monday morning it will be considered as having been returned on Saturday (i.e. the previous day the Library was open). If charges have been incurred and books are returned in this way, the charge will stay on the 'member’s account' and will be displayed for payment on the next visit
